Investigational New Drug (IND) Workshop
This course will offer best practices when conducting clinical trials using FDA approved and non-approved drugs or substances (including botanicals and biologics). It will cover the IND process and the regulatory obligations of the sponsor- investigator once an IND is filed with the FDA.
Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) Workshop
This course will offer best practices when conducting trials using FDA approved and non-approved devices. It will cover the IDE application process and the obligations of the sponsor-investigator once the IDE application is filed with the FDA.

Relocation of the FedEx and UPS drop boxes
The FedEx drop box near has been relocated to an area between Tarrson and Brauer Halls. Follow the handicapped access ramp just to the right of the main entrance to Tarrson Hall to find the new location. The UPS box will also be moved to this new location in the near future.

Three SOM students named North Carolina Schweitzer Fellows
Milele Bynum, Rachael Cowherd, and Brian Milam will join 26 other North Carolina students in conceptualizing and carrying out service projects that address the social determinants of health in underserved communities over the next year.
