Chelminski Elected Councilor into the Association for Program Directors in Internal Medicine

Paul Chelminski, MD, MPH, a graduate from the UNC School of Medicine, is an associate professor of medicine and Associate Program Director for Outpatient Education.

Dr. Chelminski was elected as one of the three Councilors in to the Association for Program Directors in Internal Medicine where he will serve a three-year term.

Dr. Chelminski sees patients five days a week in the UNC Internal Medicine Clinic. He is a Sanders Clinician Scholar and has completed research on the epidemiology and management of chronic pain, mental illness, and substance misuse. Dr. Chelminski is also a member of the UNC School of Medicine Academy of Educatory and was previously awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance Diabetes Physician Recognition Program.
