CGIBD Thursday Research Seminar

Brian Ferslew will present "Hepatic Efflux Transporters and Bile Acid Profiling: Implications in Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis" at the CGIBD Research Seminar on Thursday, October 24.

Brian Ferslew, PharmD, Division of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, completed his pharmacy degree at the University of Georgia.  He is graduate student in the Pharmaceutical Sciences program working with Sid Barritt, MD, MSCR, Wei Jia, PhD and Kim Brouwer, PharmD, PhD.  He is interested in the impact of altered hepatic transport protein expression in nonalcoholic steatohepatitis on the systemic and hepatic pharmacokinetics of anionic drugs and metabolites.  

The seminar will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will be held in the first floor auditorium of the Bioinformatics Building.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
