Faculty governance helps determine policy-making at UNC. Faculty from across the university, including in the School of Medicine, are impacted by decisions and recommendations made by the Faculty Council and by elected and appointed committees. The annual elections are one of the best ways for you to influence policy on a host of issues affecting the university’s core research, teaching, and service missions. Therefore, School of Medicine faculty members are strongly encouraged to vote in this year’s elections.
