21st Annual STEP Symposium
The UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health's 21st Annual STEP Symposium “Recovery Oriented Care in North Carolina,” scheduled for April 26, 2014, will focus on the latest information on supported employment, supportive housing, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), as well as policy changes and the future of mental health treatment in North Carolina as it relates to persons with schizophrenia and severe mental illness. Faculty from the UNC Departments of Psychiatry, NC Department of Health and Human Services, and NC Center for Public Policy Research will share the latest information on creating a mental health system that promotes recovery for these individuals.
