UNC honored at 2013 State Employees Combined Campaign Recognition Event at Governor's Mansion

On Tuesday, Feb. 18, UNC accepted the Gold Chairman's Award for university systems with more than 5,000 employees. The School of Medicine's Becky Medford, Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief of Staff and Vice Dean for Finance & Administration, was at the Governor's Mansion to accept the award.

Medford attended the event as a member of the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for the Combined Campaign. She is also an Ambassador to all of the School of Medicine and a past Co-Division Leader and Team Captain. Her service this year, as in the past, was noted with a “Volunteer Excellence Award."

Congratulations to Becky! And congratulations to the university, which finished #1 in the "Top Ten" grouping of 2013, and to UNC Health Care, which finished #5 in the Top Ten.
