Adult Male Autism Study: ASPIRE Research

The goal of this study is to measure the effects of an investigational drug on social behavior, communication, and safety. Study for adult males, ages 18-45, with high functioning autism.

Participants will either take placebo (fake medicine) or the actual medication for 12-weeks and will be regularly monitored by nurses and a psychiatrist, with the option of completing most visits at home.

Individuals may be eligible for the study if they:
•    Are male
•    Are 18-45 years old
•    Are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder
•    Speak English
•    Have a caregiver willing to help complete study activities and answer questions from the clinic staff.
