Endocrine Conference: Clinical implications of type 2 diabetes genetics

Dr. James Meigs' research focuses primarily on the cause and prevention of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. His epidemiologic research focuses on biochemical and genetic causes of insulin resistance, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, while his health services research focuses on trials of medical informatics applications providing provider decision support and population registry management for type 2 diabetes care. He is also an Associate Editor of Obesity Research and a member of several local and national diabetes care improvement advisory boards.
