Communication for Health Applications and Interventions (CHAI) Core, an NIH-funded shared resource at UNC, invites UNC research faculty & staff to participate in an interactive workshop for building effective eHealth interventions. The morning will begin with a brief overview of current trends and future directions in the field, followed by an exploration of evidence-based techniques for behavior change. Panel discussants will then examine the pros and cons of different technology options, as well as share experiences of developing eHealth interventions within real-world constraints. Wrap up the day by connecting with fellow researchers in the small-group discussions chosen during registration. Light breakfast refreshments and a seated lunch will be served, including vegan and gluten-free options.
