The 2014 Teaching Faculty Retreat will be Wednesday, October 22nd from 1:00-5:00pm in conference rooms of the Family Medicine William Aycock Building.  This conference is held every year to review best practices for teaching in the field of medical education and is specifically designed for School of Medicine faculty who work directly with students.  Sessions will cover topics related to TEC curriculum, teaching techniques, educational scholarship and new initiatives.      

Retreat objectives:

  1. To promote networking across courses, years and campuses;
  2. To review outcomes of educational innovations;
  3. To get faculty input on strategic issues facing our medical education program.

Accreditation statement:

The School of Medicine of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit statement:

The School of Medicine of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill designates this live activity for a maximum of 2.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.TM Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
