Milestones is a series of short plays in the Shakespearean style that bring the experience of a young woman going from medical school through residency to life. Hailed as a terrific depiction of current evolution in medical education, the interactive, multimedia performance focuses on issues of professional identity, resident mistreatment, and the evolving clinical learning environment. Performances on Oct. 20 and 21.

Developed by a group of professional actors and clinicians at George Washington University, Milestones has received rave reviews for its thought-provoking content. The group has performed at institutions across the country, from Yale New Haven Medical Center to Children’s Hospital in Washington D.C., and has recently concluded an international tour with performances in Asia, South America and Africa.

UNC Health Care is proud to sponsor this event for residents, administrators, and teaching faculty associated with UNC’s graduate medical education community. Performances will be held at 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Oct. 20 and at 6 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 4th Floor Old Clinic Auditorium.
