National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Sylvia Lawry Physician Fellowship

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society has released an RFP for the Sylvia Lawry Physician Fellowship. The program provides up to 3 years of formal training in key elements associated with conducting clinical trials in MS. Applicants must be licensed to practice medicine in the US at the time of application. The award is for up to $195,000 over three years. Pre-application deadline is August 12, 2015.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Sylvia Lawry Physician Fellowships

The program provides the recipient with up to 3 years of formal training – under the tutelage of an established investigator – in key elements associated with conducting clinical trials in MS. Residents who have received training in one of the medical specialties relating to MS and who are in the PGY3 or PGY4 stage or beyond, are eligible to apply. Applicants do not have to be US citizens to apply, but must be licensed to practice medicine the US at the time of application. 

Pre-Application Deadline is August 12, 2015. Official notice of award is mid-January 2016 with earliest start date of July 1, 2016. Application Guidelines can be found here (instructions begin on page 29).
