The Hope Foundation has released a call for proposals for the SWOG Early Exploration & Development (SEED) Fund. The SEED Fund encourages preliminary research that will potentially translate to future clinical trials or trial-associated projects (translational medicine studies) within SWOG and NCTN, and offers awards of up to $50,000 for 1 to 2 years. Applications are due July 1, 2015.
The NBME has released its 2015-2016 Call for Letters of Intent to support research or development on innovative assessment approaches that will enhance the evaluation of those preparing to, or continuing to, practice medicine. Awards are up to $150,000 of NMBE funding for up to two (2) years. Letters of Intent are due July 13, 2015.
Free to Breathe funds research to investigate strategies and interventions to increase clinical trial accrual to therapeutic lung cancer clinical trials. Awards of up to $100,000 over two (2) years are available. Application deadline is July 17, 2015 by 5 p.m.
