On Nov. 20, we will come together to brainstorm about how to train the people who are involved in Biomedical Research, now or in the future — including Principal Investigators, students, and ALL members of research teams.

What do we have now? Where are the gaps? Who is missing? Who needs training? What format is best? On-line? Classroom? Which groups outside of UNC need training to work with UNC researchers, and what should this look like? So many questions! Let’s have a conversation.

Susan Pusek, MPH, MS, director of Education and Training Programs at NC TraCS will kick off the discussion with an overview of what TraCS currently offers. She will also offer insight into the national discussion taking place regarding CTSA training priorities.

Our Co-PIs, Drs. John Buse and Tim Carey will also be present to answer questions!

Please send any questions or topics you would like discussed at this session to maclay@med.unc by November 18.
