2017 Program Award
Award amount is up to $450,000 for a team of 4 or more for up to three (3) years
HFSP is accepting applications for research grants focused on basic approaches to understanding the complex mechanisms of living organisms. Priority will be given to new, innovative research projects for which preliminary results might not necessarily be available. Applications including independent investigators early in their careers are encouraged.
2017 Young Investigator's Award
Award amount is up to $450,000 for a team of 4 or more for up to three years
The Young Investigator's Award is accepting applications from young scientists whose proposed projects are with team members having distinct expertise and coming from different areas of the life sciences (if not from outside the life sciences). All members of a Young Investigator’s team must be within 5 years of obtaining an independent position but must have obtained their first doctoral degree (PhD, MD or equivalent) not longer than 10 years before the LOI deadline.
Interested applicants must register and obtain a reference number by March 21, 2016.
LOI Deadline: March 31, 2016. Invited full proposals are due in mid-September 2016. Application Guidelines for the award.
