Focused Ultrasound Foundation: External Awards Program

The Focused Ultrasound Foundation program provides funding for investigator-initiated clinical, pre-clinical, and early-stage research projects through peer-reviewed process. Two tracks of funding: Clinical Indication Track and the High-Risk Track. Award amount is up to $100,000. A one-page research abstract must be submitted by Jan. 18, 2016 (two weeks prior to deadline) before a full proposal can be invited for submission. Full application deadline is Feb. 1, 2016.

Program provides funding for investigator-initiated clinical, pre-clinical, and early-stage research projects through peer-reviewed process. Two tracks of funding: Clinical Indication Track and the High-Risk Track.
Clinical Indication Track: geared towards preclinical and first-in-human clinical studies; funds research projects that target a specific clinical indication and could lead the way to new reimbursable clinical application for image-guided FUS within five to seven years.
High-Risk Track: intended for early-stage, high-risk, proof-of-concept research that, if successful, could have profound impact of FUS field

ONE-PAGE RESEARCH ABSTRACT MUST BE SUBMITTED TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO DEADLINE.

Application Deadline is Feb. 1, 2016. Approved Research Abstracts will be invited to submit a full proposal that are sent for external peer-review. Application guidelines are found here.
