TEDxUNC seeks speakers

The TEDxUNC 2016 organizing committee is looking for great faculty speakers for the February 27 conference. As in past years, this will be a day-long event held at Memorial Hall. This year's focus will be the human body.

From the organizers:

Through this theme, we strive to explore the human body from multiple perspectives. We’ll first delve into what we do for our body - inputs that can make our body thrive or struggle. After that we’ll probe topics that cover what our body can do for us - how can we use our body as a tool? Then, we’ll explore some challenges that currently relate to the human body - questions about race, gender, sexuality, and eating disorders that our generation must answer. Finally, we’ll look forward to the future of the human body - what advances will we make in the near and far future that will allow us to expand our capacity as a species? And what challenges come with those advances?
