National Institute for Health Care Management: Investigator-Initiated Research Grants

The National Institute for Health Care Management is accepting letters of interest to support innovative research that will advance the existing knowledge base in the areas of health care financing, delivery, management and/or policy. Award amount is up to $50,000 for one year. Letter of interest submission deadline is July 11.

The National Institute for Health Care Management is accepting letters of interest to support innovative research that will advance the existing knowledge base in the areas of health care financing, delivery, management and/or policy. Studies must have strong potential to yield insights that can be used to have a positive impact on the U.S. health care system by reducing spending, improving quality of care, and/or expanding access to insurance coverage and health care services. Grant amounts will be determined on a project-by-project basis. Indirect cost is limited to 12% of the budget, excluding any subcontracts.

LOI Deadline: July 11, 2016. Invited full proposals will be due September 2016. Award notifications will be in November 2016 with project start dates as early as January 2017. Application Guidelines for the award.
