PhRMA Foundation: Faculty Development Award

The PhRMA Foundation is accepting applications to support physician-scientists pursuing a career in clinical pharmacology and to encourage the development of junior research-oriented faculty who will use molecular, cell and systems pharmacology to advance human research. The program also aims to recruit promising individuals with a career commitment to study clinical pharmacology. Award amount up to $120,000 per year for up to two (2) years. The application deadline is February 1, 2018.

The PhRMA Foundation is accepting applications to support physician-scientists pursuing a career in clinical pharmacology and to encourage the development of junior research-oriented faculty who will use molecular, cell and systems pharmacology to advance human research. The program also aims to recruit promising individuals with a career commitment to study clinical pharmacology. Eligible applicants sponsored by medical schools should have at least two years of training at the residency level and two years of clinical experience in a research training program related to clinical pharmacology. Also, applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. A maximum of 8 percent of the award may be used for indirect institutional costs. The award will be made to the institution on behalf of the fellow.
