Gold Humanism Honor Society hosts 'Tell Me More' Week

The UNC School of Medicine's chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society is launching the “Tell Me More” project throughout UNC hospitals Feb. 13- 17. The effort hopes to help patients share who they are as people beyond the confines of their condition.

Tell Me More is the keystone event of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) Solidarity Week, a week when students from across multiple health disciplines come together to celebrate a dedication to ensuring compassionate, patient-centered care.

During this event, patients will be asked 3 non-medical questions about their lives; answers will then be displayed on wall stickers by patients' beds to encourage meaningful dialogue and remind all care providers that every patient is more than a diagnosis. This event is occurring at hospitals across the country as part of Solidarity Week.
