Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development to Host Town Halls to Review AAMC Faculty Engagement Survey Results

This summer, the UNC School of Medicine participated in the AAMC’s Faculty Forward Faculty Engagement Survey to assess faculty members’ engagement and opinions of our work environment. In February, the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development will host a series of Town Hall meetings to discuss institutional results and hear from faculty members about the best methods for effecting change.

The professor of Social Medicine and Director of the Center for Genomics and Society at UNC has been confirmed for a four-year term as a member of the National Advisory Council for Human Genome Research, and asked to speak at the 19th Bangkok International Symposium on HIV Medicine.
