Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: Grand Challenges Explorations (Round 20)

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) is accepting applications to support early-stage discovery research. This round focuses on three topics: Novel Approaches for Improving Timeliness of Routine Immunization Birthdose and Healthcare Worker Skill in Low-Resource Settings; Healthy Minds for Adolescent Mothers: Achieving Health Outcomes for the Family; and, Innovations for Integrated Diagnostics Systems. Award amount is up to $100,000. The application deadline is November 8, 2017 by 11:30am PCT.

Applications are only two pages and no preliminary data is required. Applicants can be at any experience level, in any discipline. Grand Challenges Explorations is an initiative where initial grants are for USD $100,000 and successful projects are eligible to receive follow-on funding of up to USD $1 million.
