Pfizer: Independent Grants for Learning & Change (IGLC), DMARD Monotherapy Treatment Options in Rheumatoid Arthritis

UPCOMING DEADLINE REMINDER: Pfizer is accepting applications to encourage organizations to design educational programs to reach clinicians caring for and managing adult patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Proposals should be designed to improve the rheumatology care teams’ understanding of the evidence for effective use of disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) as monotherapy in managing RA. Programs will be given the highest priority if the proposal consists of targeted education for the entire rheumatology care team. Award amount is up to $250,000. The application deadline is October 2, 2017.

Pfizer is accepting applications to encourage organizations to design educational programs to reach clinicians caring for and managing adult patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Proposals should be designed to improve the rheumatology care teams’ understanding of the evidence for effective use of disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) as monotherapy in managing RA. Programs will be given the highest priority if the proposal consists of targeted education for the entire rheumatology care team. The following may apply: medical, nursing, allied health, and/or pharmacy professional schools; healthcare institutions (both large and small); professional associations and medical societies; medical education companies; and other entities with a mission related to healthcare professional education and/or healthcare improvement. Collaborations within institutions (e.g., between departments and/or inter-professional), as well as between different institutions/organizations/associations, are encouraged. Maximum overhead rate is 28% for projects.
