AOE Mentored Member Program - Application now open

Organized by the Academy of Educators, the Mentored Member Program is for faculty that have been at UNC for less than two years who demonstrate an interest in education.

The Academy of Educators (AOE) is now accepting applications for the mentored member program, a new initiative to engage faculty with a passion for education earlier in their career at UNC.  Faculty in this program will have the opportunity to learn teaching skills, educational research methods, and how to critically appraise educational scholarship while being mentored by a full member of the Academy.

Mentored members will:
•    Learn about educational theory through participating in an online education journal club
•    Be paired with an AOE member with similar interests
•    Attend four events in their mentored year that are sponsored, endorsed, or facilitated by AOE
•    Network with the broader educational community

More information on this program, and how faculty can apply, can be found here. The Academy is accepting applications for 8-10 positions, and the applications are due January 30th.
