PSC Partners Seeking a Cure: Young Investigator Award

PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is accepting applications to support researchers in the early stages of their research career and who are interested in clinical, translational or basic research on Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. The program aims to encourage the investigators to conduct research in promising new areas, with the the goal that data generated will lead to federal (NIH) or external international funding. Award amount up to $40,000 per year for up to two (2) years. The application deadline is March 25, 2018.

PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is accepting applications to support researchers in the early stages of their research career and who are interested in clinical, translational or basic research on Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. The program aims to encourage the investigators to conduct research in promising new areas, with the the goal that data generated will lead to federal (NIH) or external international funding. Eligible applicants must have completed their terminal research degree (MD, PhD or equivalent) or completed clinical training, whichever is later, within the past 5 years. Only one Principal Investigator (PI) is permitted for each application. The PI's Department Chair must submit a letter documenting the PI's responsibilities at the institution, institutional commitment to the PI (including protecting at least 25% effort toward the research project), and future plans for the applicant. Researchers who have received NIH R01 Grant, VA Merit Award, or equivalent funding are not eligible. Researchers who have received a K Grant may apply.
