RWJF Clinical Scholars are teams of health care professionals motivated to leverage their passion and ideas to improve health beyond the clinical setting. Teams receive 3 years of program funding and executive coaching and leadership training to address a complex health issue in their community.

Potential fellows apply in multidisciplinary clinical teams (> 2) and may represent the range of health affair professions: dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, social work, and/or veterinary medicine. The currently funded team projects are focused on a range of complex health issues: oral health, behavioral health, opioid addiction, immigrant health, community violence, foster care system, school based care, and pharmacy deserts.  (http://clinicalscholarsnli.org).

Applications are due March 14th at 3pm EST. 

The Clinical Scholars program is supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and led by Giselle Corbie-Smith, UNC Department of Social Medicine, and Claudia Fernandez, UNC Gillings School of Public Health.
