Vodafone Americas Foundation, part of Vodafone’s global network of foundations and affiliated with Vodafone, is accepting applications to promote innovation and increase implementation of wireless-related technology to address critical social issues around the world. Project proposals must demonstrate significant advancement in the field of wireless-related technology applied to social benefit use. The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation is accepting applications to fund basic scientists and clinicians who conduct research with the potential to significantly impact the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of one or more pediatric cancers. Candidates must apply for the fellowship under the guidance of a Sponsor – a scientist (tenured, tenure-track or equivalent position) capable of providing mentorship to the Fellow. The Craig H. Neilsen Foundation will accept Letters of Intent (LOIs) beginning on February 8, 2018 for the 2019 cycle of their Psychosocial Research Grants. The goal of this program is to develop sound data to inform and disseminate best practices that produce better outcomes, improving quality of life for people living with Spinal Cord Injuries (SCI). Folt has named 19 scholarships for “Bridge Builders,” individuals whose work, advocacy and personal example helped forge a more inclusive, unified and aspirational Carolina community.
