The 25th Annual STEP Symposium titled "Advances in the Neuroscience and Treatment of Schizophrenia: Celebrating 25 Years of UNC STEP" will be  held Saturday, April 14th, at the Friday Center in Chapel Hill.  Registration will start at 8:00 am with the program beginning at 8:30 am. Learn from and interact with experts in the mental health field as they share the latest in understanding and treating schizophrenia. Explore genomic insights into the origins of schizophrenia and how to implement psychosocial treatments. Learn about the variety of treatment programs at the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health. Featured speakers include Lisa B. Dixon, MD, MPH of the Center for Practice Innovations at the NY State Psychiatric Institute and Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center and Daniel R. Weinberger, MD, Director of the Lieber Institute for Brain Development and Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. The symposium will also feature speakers from the UNC Center for Excellence in Community Mental Health.

CEU and CME credits available at additional cost.
