Patient Safety Awareness Week Kicks Off with Webcast

For all of us here at UNC Hospitals, every day is Patient Safety Day, and from March 11 – 17, we will be able to renew our full commitment to this during Patient Safety Awareness Week. This year’s theme is “United for Patient Safety.” To kick off the week we will be showing a Live IHI/NPSF webcast with nationally known experts discussing the importance of speaking up from the perspectives of clinicians, staff, and patients and families.

The kick off web cast, Engaging Patients & Providers:  Speaking up for Patient Safety, will be broadcast on Monday, March 12 from 1:00 – 2:00 in G 100 Bondurant.
