Research study: Recruiting 18-35-year-olds interested in using a weight loss app

UNC researchers are studying innovative ways to promote healthy eating, physical activity, and weight loss in young adults using a smartphone app, digital health tools, and daily messaging. We are seeking volunteers to enroll in a 12-week research study that tests a smartphone-delivered weight loss program designed specifically for young adults.

Researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are studying innovative ways to promote healthy eating, physical activity, and weight loss in young adults using a smartphone app, digital health tools, and daily messaging. We are seeking volunteers to enroll in a 12-week research study that tests a smartphone-delivered weight loss program designed specifically for young adults.

You may be eligible if you:
• Are currently age 18-35
• Have a body mass index between 25 and 40
• Not exceeding physical activity guidelines
• Own an iPhone with internet access and a text messaging plan
• Have home Wi-Fi access
• Are willing to attend two visits at the UNC Weight Research Program in Chapel Hill, NC
