We have an Employee Relations Lunch & Learn training scheduled for Wednesday, February 13, 2019.  We are so fortunate that the UNC Department of Public Safety conducts trainings across campus and have agreed to present “Shots Fired On Campus/Active Shooter” Safety training.  Specifically, the foundation of the training is based on a DVD called “Shots Fired: When Lightning Strikes.”  The evidence-based training and goal is to proactively educate our SOM community on how to evaluate potentially threatening situations, determine best responses, and build a strong and effective culture of safety.
