Caregivers at Carolina RFA now available

Caregivers at Carolina is a program for physician scientists facing extraprofessional caregiving demands. Funding of up to $40,000 per year is available for one to two years to provide direct research support or buy out of clinical time for physician scientists facing substantial caregiving demands at home. Samantha Meltzer-Brody Featured in National News Following FDA Approval of First Postpartum Depression Treatment

UNC participated in three clinical trials for the drug ZULRESSO, developed by Sage Therapeutics. Samantha Meltzer-Brody, MD, MPH, director of the Perinatal Psychiatry Program at the UNC SOM, was the academic principal investigator for the trials, which the FDA reviewed during its approval process for ZULRESSO.
