Bonzo Reddick is the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and associate professor of family medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA, where he was also born and raised. After receiving his BS degree from Morehouse College and MD degree from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, Bonzo moved to NC, where he completed his family medicine residency, Career Development Fellowship, and MPH at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an added interdisciplinary certificate in health disparities. He is a faculty member in the family medicine residency program at Memorial University Medical Center and practices in the JC Lewis Primary Health Care Center, an FQHC and healthcare for the homeless designation site. Bonzo’s professional interests include use of test-enhanced learning to improve academic performance & medical knowledge; prevention, early diagnosis, & management of HIV & Hepatitis C in primary care; and application and teaching of social determinants of health.
