The UNC School of Medicine Academy of Educators (AOE) hosted thirty participants at its inaugural Teaching Bootcamp this past Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education.
The Academy of Educators (AOE), housed within the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, hosted the first-ever AOE Teaching Bootcamp this past Tuesday, February 4th, 2020 at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education. Thirty participants attended various sessions focused on foundational topics in education such as feedback, setting expectations, and evaluation. The aim of this program is to develop the teaching skills of medical educators at all levels of their careers and to enhance their work developing future generations of medical professionals.
