The Academy of Educators (AOE), located within the Office of Faculty Affairs and Leadership Development, is now accepting nominations for new faculty and resident members. Nominations are due by March 18, 2020 at 11:59 PM and can be submitted on our website.
Founded on enhancing research and scholarship toward excellence in teaching, the AOE is seeking faculty, residents, and fellows who are committed to the teaching of learners within the UNC School of Medicine, the UNC Health Care System, and participating AHEC sites. To accomplish these goals, we strive for the creation and design of new curricular materials and scholarly research within medical education and the willingness to implement new methodology and technology.
Acceptance to the Academy brings expectations of continued leadership in educational initiatives, and active participation in the goals of the Academy (minimum of four events for all types of membership.
