The UNC School of Medicine is seeking a UNC faculty member with broad academic experience, readiness for clinical leadership, experience in bringing together different constituencies, and dedication and expertise in education to lead the establishment of UNC Health Sciences at SEAHEC. This person will collaborate with university, community and SEAHEC leaders to expand the medical school campus in Wilmington and establish campuses in the other health professions there as well.
This person will champion research and community engagement for UNC Health Sciences at SEAHEC. Effective collaboration around the clinical mission at New Hanover Regional Medical Center is a necessity for this academic leader.
