The UNC Health Enterprises team is seeking a Physician Innovator to support and grow UNC Health’s portfolio of new consumer health experiences and strategically-aligned health businesses.
Working closely with the UNC Health Enterprises team, which is led by VP Carol Lewis, the Physician Innovator will help develop novel health models that are affordable, convenient and/or technology enabled, identify areas of innovation, support a culture of innovation, and drive the plan to identify and capture market share in new products/services/businesses. This physician will work as a member of multiple cross-functional project teams, provide important clinical insight and expertise, and coordinate with other clinical and administrative leaders across UNC Health and with external partners.
- Requirements
The ideal candidate is a mid-career physician with experience driving innovation and health model transformation and a desire to work with teams to drive change. The physician must be employed by UNC Health or the UNC School of Medicine and allocate 25% FTE. Appointment will be for one year. Salary support will be provided.
