Dr. Tom Bacon joins Here's to Your Health
This weekend, Dr. Tom Bacon joins the Here's to Your Health radio show to discuss the N.C. Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) Program, health care reform and North Carolina’s future health care needs.
Dr. Bacon has served as Executive Associate Dean and AHEC Program Director at the UNC School Of Medicine since 1996. He holds faculty appointments in the Department of Social Medicine in the UNC School of Medicine and in Health Policy and Administration in the UNC School of Public Health. His academic and career interests are in the development of a health workforce, with a particular focus on primary care providers to serve the needs of vulnerable populations.
