Nominations Wanted: Carolina Center for Public Service Awards

The Carolina Center for Public Service invites you to honor campus units as well as individual students, faculty and staff for outstanding efforts in engaged scholarship and service by nominating them for a public service award. The deadline for submission has been extended to Friday, Feb. 12.

The Carolina Center for Public Service (CCPS) offers the Ned Brooks Award for Public Service, the Robert E. Bryan Public Service Award, and the Office of the Provost Engaged Scholarship Award annually.  These prestigious awards recognize individual students, faculty, staff and University units for extraordinary public service and engaged scholarship.  Winners receive a monetary award and will be honored at the annual Public Service Awards reception scheduled for Friday, April 16.

Nominations may be submitted by students, staff, faculty, and/or community members and are due by 5 p.m. on Friday Feb. 12. Nominators are cautioned to review the criteria for each award to ensure their nomination is aligned with stated requirements for the award.
