WNC Colorectal Cancer Evidence Academy: From Prevention to Treatment

This event, on March 12 at Lake Junaluska, is co-sponsored by the NC Comprehensive Cancer Program and UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, survivors and caregivers in Western North Carolina are invited to attend.
Upon completion of this academy, participants will be able to:

  • Implement practice changes to identify and track at-risk patients for colorectal cancer screening.
  • Apply new treatment and screening methods in appropriate settings.
  • State the benefits and challenges of implementing an electronic health record.

There is no cost to participants to attend or receive CME/CEUs for this event, but registration is required.

The event will be from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m on March 12 at the Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center - Terrace Auditorium.
