UNC Hospitals Blood Donation Center will move to N.C. Cancer Hospital

The Blood Donation Center will move to the N.C Cancer Hospital and will be open for donations beginning August 31. The Blood Donation Center will be located on the third floor, next to the clinical trials area.

UNC Hospitals Blood Donation Center collects blood products from volunteer donors. The center specializes in the collection of apheresis platelets and plasma. It relies on the generosity of the UNC students, staff, friends and family members of UNC patients and the Chapel Hill community. The center provides essential blood products to support the needs of patients at UNC Healthcare.
