Rick Segal, Ph.D., professor and director of the Division of Physical Therapy, has been elected as a 2009 Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association, the most prestigious recognition granted by the organization.
For the third time in four years, a UNC medical student has won the William B. Bean Student Research Award from the American Osler Society. This year Chris Dibble, currently a third-year M.D./Ph.D. student, took the honors for his proposal entitled “Osler and Trudeau: The North American Campaign Against Tuberculosis.”
