7th Annual Beach Ball Raises $110,000
Held at the newly renovated Chapel Hill Country Club with a South Beach/Hamptoms-style white party theme, the 7th Annual Beach Ball raised $110,000 to support the care and treatment of cancer patients! Read more.


Pediatric Oncology Staff and Faculty to Host St. Baldrick's Party
Stuart Gold, MD, chief of pediatric hematology and oncology, and John Rockwell, MS, MBA, administrative director of oncology for UNC Hospitals, among others, will shave their heads to raise money for St. Baldrick’s. Head to the Crunkleton (320 W. Franklin Street) on May 29 at 4 p.m. to hang out and cheer them on. This is a family event and all are welcome.

St. Baldrick’s is a national charity that raises money for children with cancer. UNC has benefited from the St. Baldrick’s foundation over the years through grants and fellowships for the pediatric oncology program.
