Commuter Updates

The updates include news about upcoming transportation forums and a Triangle Transit Survey.

Annual UNC Transportation Forums, Oct. 8 and Oct. 12
Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. at the Great Hall of the Carolina Union, decision-makers from our transit agencies, as well as representatives from the Department of Public Safety’s parking, CAP and Zipcar will answer questions about your commute. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Please join us. Light refreshments will be provided and printed information will also be available.

On Monday, Oct. 12, from 2 – 3:30 p.m. the Hospital Forum will be held in Conference Room #4 on the Ground Floor of the Women's Hospital. Hospital staff is invited to ask questions on the subject of commuting to UNC to representatives from Hospital Parking and Transportation Office as well as the transit agencies and DPS. Please drop by. Don’t miss this opportunity. Surveys will be available for those who cannot stay.

Triangle Transit Survey
Triangle Transit is planning bus service changes to accommodate riders on Oct. 22, when the university closes early to prepare for the Florida State football game. If you usually take Triangle Transit to get to Chapel Hill, please take a brief survey by clicking on the link below. Your response will help Triangle Transit plan for service on Oct. 22.
