Did you receive a new laptop over the holidays? If so, you should get it encrypted right away. Simply check your laptop in at the OIS Help Desk in 65 MacNider and you can pick it up the next morning.

If you have a Mac, you can encrypt your disk with the built in software FileVault (for the operating systems Leopard and Lion).
Don’t delay! UNC Security Policy requires that laptops and other mobile devices that store sensitive data must be encrypted no later than July 1, 2012.
