Beginning Aug. 1, direct deposit of your paycheck and electronic statements will be required. Instead, employees can use https://advice.unch.unc.edu to access their pay statements the Friday before each payday.

These are two very important changes impacting the way you receive your pay and your pay statements:

1. Direct deposit of your paycheck will be required. If you still receive a paper check on payday you must complete a Direct Deposit form and submit it to the Payroll Office no later than July 31, 2012.

2. Electronic statements will be required. If you are still receiving a paper pay statement you must register online at https://advice.unch.unc.edu and sign up for electronic statements in order to view your pay statement for the Aug. 16 payday. Any employees not currently receiving electronic pay statements must sign on by 11:59 p.m. on July 31 and click on the “Click to Register” button to sign-up.

To register to receive electronic pay statements, each employee will need the following:

  • Employee ID number
  • Last four digits of Social Security Number
  • Zip Code

Once you provide the above information, you will be asked to create and confirm a password to use to access your electronic pay statements.
