The Purchasing and Accounts Payable departments will be relocating to the UNC Health Care Shared Services Center in the Imperial Center near the Research Triangle Park the weekend of June 2-3 and will be open for normal business on Monday, June 4.

The new physical address will be:

4400 Emperor Boulevard
Durham, NC 27703

Please also note the following details:

  • To accommodate the need for original check requests and issuance of orders against paper requisitions (the latter regarding minor capital and capital requests), please continue to address them to either Purchasing our Accounts Payable as normal. Given the fact that both departments are moving farther from the Hospitals, we would ask that you allow an extra day or two for processing and plan accordingly. Check runs will continue to be scheduled weekly on Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Telephone and fax numbers for both departments will eventually change, but all current telephone numbers for general numbers for Purchasing (919-966-4216) and Accounts Payable (919-966-4824), as well as direct telephone numbers for each team member in each of those departments, will be forwarded to the new numbers for several months. Thus, you may continue to dial the current telephone numbers for a period of time. Once we transition to the new location, all new telephone numbers will be announced shortly following the relocation of both departments.
  • We are investigating a more efficient (faxing or scanning to email) means of accommodating the flow of documents and once identified and agreed upon, we will advise of the accepted process.
  • Check requests for trust funds, or related to food items, employee recognition or gift cards, will continue to be addressed to Marion Laske in Fiscal Services located in the Hedrick Building. She will coordinate the issuance of payment of monies from trust funds with Accounts Payable as necessary.

We appreciate your attention to these details and ask that you reach out to the following people with any questions/concerns:

Thank you, in advance, for the cooperation and attention.
