UNC Health Care’s outpatient clinics at Carolina Crossing are scheduled to open in October 2012, expanding UNC Healthway on Hwy 54 in Chapel Hill and Durham. Starting October 18th all Hearing and Voice patients will be seen at Carolina Crossing. This 5,000 square foot space will serve as a state of the art facility to provide specialized services including speech pathology, voice therapy, aural rehab, hearing aid dispensing, cochlear implant services, and various pediatric hearing needs.

UNC Ear, Nose & Throat at Carolina Crossing
For the past six years, UNC Health Care’s community based Ear, Nose and Throat clinic at Carolina Pointe I has offered the full spectrum of ENT services as well as allergy, voice therapy, speech-language pathology and audiology. On Oct. 22, the ENT clinic will move across Farrington Road into the new 6,000 square foot space called UNC Ear, Nose & Throat at Carolina Crossing.
The new office will offer clinic appointments and other outpatient services daily, Monday through Friday. In addition to general otolaryngology, specialized clinics will be available including Otology, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Allergy and Pediatric ENT.
The UNC Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery’s clinic in the N.C. Neurosciences Hospital will continue at full strength.
