We are pleased to announce a newly organized Strategic Planning & Network Development division for UNC Health Care.
The need for an integrated organization emerged in 2011, when work began on a system-wide strategy.
Since then, the physician relations teams for the Medical Center and Rex joined together, and system-wide network development efforts are being pursued. An integrated strategic planning & network development organization has already proven to enhance coordination.
Amy Higgins will oversee this newly combined organization as System Vice President of Strategic Planning & Network Development.
