Dorrie Lassiter replaces Joanne Altier, who retired in April. In her new role, Lassiter will be responsible for managing the various supplemental benefits programs offered to UNCFP Clinical Faculty and UNC Health Care executives as well as to the staff that supports these programs.
Dorrie Lassiter replaces Joanne Altier, who retired in April. In her new role, Lassiter will be responsible for managing the various supplemental benefits programs offered to UNCFP Clinical Faculty and UNC Health Care executives as well as to the staff that supports these programs.
Dorrie joins us with over seven years of diverse benefits-focused experience within the University of North Carolina system, both in General Administration and the UNC-Chapel Hill Office of Human Resources, where she most recently was the Leave Administration Manager. She will bring a deep understanding of our standard University/State Employee benefits programs and how they interrelate with our UNCFP supplemental programs. Her varied experiences in these prior positions will position her well to lead our department.
Dorrie holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Bryan School of Business and Economics. She is a North Carolina native and currently resides in Hillsborough, N.C., with her family.
